Welcome Bill

Energy Doctors of Indiana LLC would like to welcome Bill Silva of SIRP Environmental as a consultant and associate for our commercial clients.

Bill Silva has a BSEE in electrical and communications and as well as experience in the power engineering field. He served on 5 National Standard committees in various electrical and communications areas, including the Indiana Safety Committees, and E.P.R.I. (Electric Power Research Institute). During his years as supervisor of communications at IPL, he and his department handled residential and commercial customer complaints of “electric noise” that was not only a nuisance but in some cases lead to dangerous indications of equipment failure. This was accomplished by utilizing various radio equipment and instrumentation as well as ultrasonic detection devices. He was a manufacturer’s rep for an electric equipment sales company that included equipment for power factor correction, harmonic frequency filtering, surge protection, ups systems, and more. He has now increased his scope to the environmental and energy equipment supply and consulting businesses. He has been a Ham radio operator for over thirty five years.
